The Mary Hall Kogen Coordinate Movement Endowed Scholarship

The Coordinate Movement Program is honored to remember one of our late faculty members Mary Hall Kogen (1944-2022) through the newly-established Mary Hall Kogen Endowed Coordinate Movement Scholarship. Mary taught piano and pedagogy for decades at Portland State University, and was a major influence in the development of the Coordinate Movement Program. This scholarship in Mary's memory will support students who have a performance-related injury and will benefit from taking Coordinate Movement courses or has a demonstrated interest in health and wellbeing for musicians and plans to pursue professional certification in the field.

The Wellness Fund

This fund was established by Professor Emeritus Harold Gray. He was instrumental in creating our wellness program and his annual donations have made our events possible. Your gift to the Wellness Fund will go towards costs associated with guest lecturers, community outreach, research and further programming of events.
